I am on Opdivo. Sometimes, i itch really bad ... from the inside out, it feels like. I have been known to scratch off my skin trying to relieve the itch.

My doctor wanted to prescribe steroids. I said no. I found that body butter with patchouli in it helped. My NP recommended Claritin (not Claritin D)

      Good luck

My wife is also a treated cancer patient who receives Keytruda among her treatments for her lung cancer. She has always had severe dry itchy skin and has intensified with the introduction of this treatment option. She has used an Aveeno moisturizing product which her doctors, her oncologist and the pharmacist all approve her using this product to alleviate most discomforts with her dry skin.

I hope this helps you but before trying this, pass your consideration by your doctors and pharmacist prior to using this or any other means for controlling this very uncomfortable condition. I urge this since everyone on this forum has to communicate all new medications and any considered over-the-counter products. I hope this may also help you and please kee us posted.

Because of the Keytruda itch, the doctor at CTCA put me on two Benadryl tablets daily. It helps a little.

I was told by Dr. To use Cetaphil liquid soap and Sarna anti itch lotion (over the counter). Has helped with itching and dry skin. I had major flaking! It is better!
