Hi! My husband was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Lung last July. He had a full thoracotomy to remove a 4+ cm. tumor (and his right lower lobe) as well as an involved lymphnode. I can only relate as a caregiver, but we have started this journey together and will follow it to the end.
Any questions I can answer, I will do so gladly. Hang in there!

Also, there is a FB page called Lovable Lungnoids (http://www.facebook.com/groups/299612686794289/) which is a support group for nothing but this type of cancer by survivors and a few caregivers.

I am awaiting scheduling of removal of my carcinoid lung tumor (right mainstem bronchus). Just curious how you are doing. Was it central or peripherally located? I am very nervous and scared. Any input you have is greatly appreciated. There is not much info out there on carcinoid lung tumors as it is very rare as you know.
