I developed severe sores in my mouth from the radiation treatments. I don't know if it's from nerve damage or not, mine was just from the radiation, I was given two prescriptions for solutions to shish in my mouth to help them heal, and one to numb the mouth so I could stand to eat something. It hurt so bad I couldn't stand to put anything in my mouth. I also had SCC, a malignant tonsil.

Ask you doctor about Magic Mouthwash! You can swish it and spit it out or swish it in you mouth a swallow it! It is prescription! There are many different formularies it all depends what your doctor wants in it! Sloan Kettering ordered mine and made you mouth feel great!
