IMO, he is just one more quack, like every other quack with no education, experience, or evidence supporting their claims to "cure" cancer with diet, supplements, herbs, suppositories, etc. Good nutrition is always a good thing, whether you have cancer or not, but it neither causes nor cures cancer. I find it morally reprehensible that these people kill people who buy into their BS who could otherwise have been cure of their cancer with traditional and proven treatment.

I tend to agree with Nancyjac, and I admire her ability to say so in no uncertain words! Some of this stuff is well-intentioned, but it is makes a cancer survivor feel guilty - as though if we had only eaten differently or ate fewer hamburgers or ate more broccoli we wouldn't get cancer. It also leads to the false belief that if we only eat the rights things now, our cancer will go away and/or never come back. And none of that is true. All cancers start with one renegade cell - one. An outlaw cell, a cell that mutates and decides it needs to clone a few billion friends. Anyone can get cancer and it has nothing to do with what we eat or don't eat, if we are otherwise healthy or not. Lance Armstrong comes to mind. How can you be healthier that a triathlete, Tour de France winner? And the sad truth is that there is no cure for cancer. There are treatments which can result in a survivor being cancer free. But those treatments are hard - surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, hormonal therapy. So, by all means, eat healthy, improve your diet, exercise more, and do all you can to keep your body in good shape. Just don't buy into everything that promises to prevent or cure cancer. Read Steve Jobs' book - her regrets trying alternative medicine and not having surgery. We have to ALL we can to beat this horrible disease.
