I tried it in 2014 to stimulate my appetite but, it caused loss of stability in legs and I’d fall so doctor discontinued Rx. I drank Boost to maintain essential vitamin/mineral levels.

I was prescribed it when I underwent a stem cell transplant. It jump-started my appetite and I needed it for just a few days. I did not notice any side effects - but I was rather weak and spent most of the day asleep.

I have a good friend and he still takes marinol to help his appetite. He is a Stage IV rectal cancer survivor like me.
