I have stage IIIB and they put me on inter feron for a year. I didn't have any of those you mentioned. Where was yous located. My was on my back and spread to my front right side armpit. They had to remove mole on my back and a sac of lymphnods in my right armpit. Then I did a month of 5 days a week of inter feron and after the month I did 3 times a week of shots of inter feron for the next 11 months. I was brutal but am still here 3 years later. Good luck in what ever you choose. If you need to talk let me know.

my husband took Zelboraf for 8 months for stage IV melanoma, tolerated it well mostly rashes, hair loss, weight loss. Pill worked well in the beginning, but turmors started growing again. Very upset about this. Now want to do Yervoy but side effects seem horrible. Do not know what to do. Was thinking of going to CTCA, do not know if they can help.

I was put on Yervoy first did 3 doses, sight affects got me. I am currently taking Zelboraf now go for PET scan on the 9 and see Dr on 12 to see how the turmors are doing. If you get sight effects from Yervoy you have to take massive dose of predisone which help with the side effects but makes your turmors grow. I have one turmor that has grown since taking Zelboraf I hope tthat the others are not growing again I don't know what the next course of action will be or even if there is any. I have went past my time line, kinda getting tired of fighting at times I also have muscular dystoropy(SP) which the two together don't mix. God Bless and keep up thd fight there are people on here that are like the energizer bunny so don't give up.
