I've taken Lupron for endometriosis, had the hot flashes, and sympathize! Later during cancer treatment causing hot flashes, my oncologist prescribed Clonidine (old BP med), and it worked great!

When you are having cancer treatment, you should always ask your oncologist before taking any new medicine or natural remedies to ensure that they won't interact or interfere with cancer drugs prescribed. Best wishes.

I was on Lupron for 3 years after Radiation treatments. I sympathize with you because the hot flashes are very uncomfortable. I wasn't aware, of any OTC medicine that would help, (and I'm still not) but when it got bad enough, my Oncologist prescribed medroxyprogesterone. It helped immensely. I recommend it. Best of luck with your health.

I also had the same problem. Like bro i'm not aware of any OTC medications but my urologist proscribed something which helped. Sorry I don't remember the name. Might add, my hot flashes were severe enough I was on a double dose of the medication and it really did help. Don't be afraid to as for it.

Thanks everyone. I plan on asking my doctor about what I can take before I try anything.
