How about checking it with your most serious issue that you're facing this week?

What do you have happening? Side effects, surgery coming up, waiting on a scan, running from a stupid hurricane?

I am finishing my radiation treatments this week. Doctors and friends assure me the worst is yet to come... So far, i am only feeling a bit fatigued and my throat is becoming progressively sorer. By the end of the week, soft, easy to swallow foods are likely to reign here. I see malts in my future :)

Yesterday was my cancerverrsary. Most of the day I spent thinking about the day I was diagnosed. Then broke the spell with ice cream. And tomorrow I have my annual mammogram. It's a screening one so that means white knuckles for at least a week!

I'm getting over a very hard cold that landed me in bed most of the weekend. My positive is that I'm feeling better, over the hump I hope and will have a pneumonia shot on Friday. My first one!
      Thanks for asking!

I am so thankful that I have no serious issues this week. The air has cleared and I can go outdoors and breathe again. Last night I was able to see stars and the beautiful half moon and stars again. It is so good to be able to take deep breaths without chest pains. Best of all The Nanny Cat has stopped sneezing.

I feel like I have several issues that are serious. See the onc on Thur for results of blood work- I'm expecting to start oral chemo of some sort at that time. Get rid of the cold I have had for 2 weeks now. Move some -to try to push the blues back into the corner. Get back to living.

I am in remission from Lymphoma, but it has been a pretty stressful week. My daughter was in the ER with an allergic reaction, lips swelling, hives, the whole bit. The most stressful thing about that is, we have no idea what she reacted to. We just found out that my dog is dying :( And my parents were in a shelter in Florida during Irma. My mother is pretty immobile. But we are all ok, so thats good
