I was talking with someone about this. I was saying that when a parent holds back from drugs to save a child's life they go to trial for murder (justifiably so!). But when big fat wallet drug companies hold back, it's considered justified with every stinking excuse in the book for it..and even lots of supporters!
I could not agree with you more!

I am currently beginning my journey and spoke with a local oncologist at a small cancer center. He informed me of the shortage. We opted not to go to that facility, and are currently scheduled to see an oncologist at a large hospital, where there are clinical trials available. I spoke with another local cancer center about 20 minutes away who said as far as the shortage it is all about the wholesaler they go through, they have never had a shortage, and they would gladly provide what ever chemo the larger cancer center recommended at a 20 minute drive as opposed to a 2 hour drive. So for lack of a better term it is good to "shop around".
