Have you asked the ACS? They've helped me with some funding with a few organizations, with gas, etc.

Alot of people are using a fund raising webpage, where friends, relatives and complete strangers can donate to your benefit. Here is a website that was suggested to me by a patient navigator from the American Cancer Society www.giveforward.com this is a doable option. I believe this site is free, doesn't take a percentage of what you receive. Just an option for you

check with your social worker at your local welfare/medicade office or your doctors office. Also, if it's a matter of drug costs contact the drug company directly they usually have programs to help.

I found it very helpful to pick up a free copy of something called the " Patient resourse cancer guide " Financial considerations. Inside this small publication is a list of numerous resources for aide for people in our situation. It also has telephone numbers and e-mail addresses for pharmacutical companies that hav discounted programs as well as programs that help with co-pays and monthly premiums.I picked this up in my oncologists office lobby. The web site is : PatientResourse.com. Hope this helps and good luck. Keep up the good fight young man. You seem to be very pro-active and strong for both you and you family and thats what you all need .
