I was Grade 1 Stage IIA, triple positive. NO history of any cancer in my family. I began research, once I found out what I had....also began working with a nutritionist on diet. Mine was feeding off of my hormones. Hormones are added into to meat, eggs, etc. So re-evalutated. Buying meat that is hormone/steroid free. Dropped all processed foods (boxed food, mac n cheese, etc) and all sugar from my diet. Also feeding off of my own fat cells. No cookies, pies, cakes, etc. Getting my weight back to where it should be as well. I have one more round of chemo....my tumor was about 1 3/4", 2nd chemo, size of a pea....now they can not physically detect it. Went from a mastectomy to a lumpectomy. Still want the surgery to confirm it is physically gone. Do research on your litmus as well...

I completely agree with drummerboy. Being diagnosed with cancer in itself is overwhelming without adding all the "What it's" and negative thoughts. For me personally, it was emotionally harder when the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. Once I was diagnosed I was able to focus on what needed to be done and on preparing myself for treatment.

I put my trust in God and asked others to pray for me.
