Tell them you are having problems following the information and ask if they have a print out or at least point you to a web site where it is written down. Then you can write down any specific questions you still have for you next consult. Call their office now and ask the nurse/receptionist. They probably get this question often and are prepared to help.

I'm with Clyde, Never leave the office without fulling understanding the results of any tests or procedures you have had. Ask for contact information for your doctor or another team member, so you can ask follow questions if need be.

Both my hematologist and oncologist gave me the time and a very through review of what to expect during the procedure, and then the results and what they meant in general and to me in specific.

There is a lot involved with the results of a biopsy. Focus in on what the doctor looking at and ask questions. It also helps to bring some one with you. Any good doctor should give you the to explain things.
