I wouldn't say it's the worse part but it is very stressful. I've had to a considerable amount of waiting myself this past year. Am do some waiting now & it isn't any easier than a year ago.

waiting is hard, having cancer means you wait a lot for results, etc. I find that meditation and doing things I enjoy help make the wait easier.

Don't try holing your breath until you get the results. I can tell you that is doesn't work. As the song says "the waiting is the hardest part". I too am waiting right now. Had a CT scan last Friday and won't see the Dr till Monday. I have found that just going on with like and forgetting about it works for me. Dwelling on it makes the time go slower. Actually if that last statement is true go on vacation while waiting, vacation always seems to go too fast. Good Luck

The waiting is terrible but nothing you can really do about it. I just think about how I'll soon have the answer and each minute is a minute closer to the reveal. Staying busy is the key.

waiting is the worst part for me. Waiting for the path results. Waiting for a treatment to start. Waiting to see what side effects will manifest themselves. If you know what your dealing with you can deal with it but it's difficult to deal with the unknown. You're WAITING to find out. I get it:-)

I am terrible at the Waiting Game. When I had my Follow-up Scans a couple of weeks ago, my Oncologist was kind enough to call me later in the day with the results of two of the three. It was a Friday and I had to wait over the weekend for the third. It was the longest weekend of my life.
It is so ironic how time normally flies by but when you are waiting for test results, each minute seems like an hour. I can tell you that prayer helps --- and positive thoughts. I wish you the best.

Waiting is bad because you can't plan your life. I have had to put off taking my kitty to the vet because I didn't know when I would be called in for another appointment. Lately for me it has been that the results show a need for more tests. I have finally got an appointment for Monday for my kitty.

I do other things that keep my mind off or it. Reading, watching TV (DVDs), listening to music or whatever you are capable of doing, after surgery, that will keep your thoughts occupied. Tell your meaning friends not to ask and that you will tell them as soon as you know.
