How many diagnoses have you had? After your first did you relapse with the same, or get a new type of cancer?

The "odds" for my diagnosis is 40% chance of a recurrence before 5 years. I usually don't pay much attention to statistics or numbers/odds, but 40% is like a 50/50 chance that I'll get it again. Definitely a spot for thinking that your glass is half FULL

Only one diagnosis and I've been cancer-free for 7 1/2 years. I know that I'm high risk for another cancer, which is why I am thankful every day I open my eyes. I am vigilant about doctors' appointments and screenings, but I don't worry a minute of the day about cancer (because there might be a day when that's all that will be on my mind). Carpe diem.

Always the show off, I have been diagnosed with one lymphoma three times, another type of lymphoma once and the bone marrow cancer Myelodysplastic Syndrome once. All gone over 11 years, but it was a heck of a battle.

One cancer so far (it’s been 20 years), but I’m sometimes worried about getting another kind of cancer.

Just this one, but I'm scared I will get another since they said the radiation could make my chances of another go up. But I guess I will take those chances along with being alive right now over no chances of another diagnosis because I was dead.

Melanoma, Gastro Intestinal sarcoma tumor, Angiosarcoma, then pre-cancers of Thyroid, Parotid gland, Uterus, and then too many skin cancers to count. Those are just the cancers.
Obviously I was a terror in my past lives.

4 within a space of 6 years. None had anything to do with the other...endometrial, breast, malignant melanoma and non-hodgkins. 2 years since the last one... feeling truly precious and blessed
