    How to Find a Conversation

    How to Find a Conversation

How do I find a conversation I've been having with another WhatNexter? When that person responds to me I can click on the link in the e-mail notification that I get and it takes me to our conversation. Sometimes I can find the conversation on my home page or their home page but other times I can't. Is there another way to find it? Thanks for any help you can provide.

If it was a question you can go to the questions page and enter your username, or the other person's username, or the title of the question and search using one of those. Or go to the people page and search for the person's username there.

The algorithm the site has needs some tweaking, but it's a huge undertaking to adjust it.

I’ve tried that, po18guy. Sometimes I can find the conversation that way and sometimes not. Thank you, though.

      LWC, I hear you.

      Okay, thank you, Greg.

OK, try this, from the top of the page:
Take Me: Home > People > My Profile > Questions
Then scroll down and down and down until you find the conversation. Unfortunately, questions are in-line with conversations, so if it was awhile ago, you will have to do some scrolling.

Hate to say it, but the site has few 1980s features...
