• I am always askin my Onc.

I am always askin my Onc.

To keep my Onc on his toes and because they do a lot of clinical trials I am always asking him: Come on Doc, can't you put a few drops of this or that from your clinical trials in my chemo or now in my blood testing just to make sure we got all the cancer cells..I'll take a little of that PDL-1 potion.

At first he looked at me with sheer shock on his face then he said: We have to watch you walking by the lab..He started laughing his head off..Just what we need ..someone who knows enough about the new drugs to know what to go after...

    I said hey..its for a good cause...Me..

I do this. Every time I visit my onc, I have things to discuss with him. I'm beginning to think I have moved past what he knows and its time to find someone more up to date. If anyone has suggestions of a good melanoma onc at MD or in NYC, I would appreciate the contact info.
