I am done with the first rounds of treatments (chemo) now they want to do radiation

I was told that the chemo would clear out all cancer cells everywhere in my body since it was a fluid injected in me. Now they want to do radiation and I'm not sure. The decision was left to me. What is your opinion if someone left it up to you, how did you decide to do it or not do it?

I agree with Bengal - take everything they offer. Cancer is a sneaky snake. Sometimes, chemo doesn't kill every single cancer cell within a tumor or in the walls of your bladder. The radiation kills additional cancer cells and helps prevent recurrence.

When I was diagnosed I decided early on to do whatever it took to kick this disease to the curb. I was given three options for my treatments and , in my case , radiation was not one of them. I chose the most aggressive treatment of the three. I agree it is a personal choice between you and your doctor . For me, going forward , I wanted to know I had done everything I could to survive, and keep on surviving.

What type and stage are you? What will they radiate?
