Depends on which drugs to a great extent, but even with the same drugs it can vary from person to person. I lost all my hair except eyebrows and lashes with the very first chemo treatment. Towards the end of my chemo, my lashes started falling out and my eyebrows thinned a little but neither completely fell out. What did fall out grew back along with all the rest of my hair.

I had 4 cycles of AC, and 4 cycles of Taxotere and Herceptin. I had these dose dense, that is every 2 weeks.

My lashes and eyebrows held on until almost the end, a week after my last treatment all gone. But I was happy I could celebrate being done.

Do take a Feel Good Look Better class by ACS, they teach you how to draw on eyebrows and other tricks (as well as some cool cosmetics, I got an eyebrow kit among other things).

Thanks for the responses. The medication of choice is TC every 3 weeks.

I've been on Taxol/Carboplactin every 3 weeks. I just finishe 5 of 6 last week. Eyelashes & eyebrows hanging in there, at least for now. Nose hair is gone though. That is weird!

It varies depending on chemo drugs and from person to person. I was on Taxol and Carboplatin every 3 weeks for 6 weeks. I lost almost all of my eyelashes & eye brows and hair everywhere else.

I receive Taxol/Carboplatin. My hair has fallen out for the most part, I still have eyebrows and eyelashes, but all other hair on my face has fallen out also my stomach and legs. A little fuzz on my head. Still got hair on my arms for some reason. My skin feels weird without hair. The hair in my nose has fallen out, I don't know if it's related or not, but I have nosebleeds pretty often too. The good news is I don't need to shave my legs anymore, gotta find something good in it. I'll save a fortune on razor blades for awhile :) Don't know yet if I will derive any benefit from being more aerodynamic. I'm always having to trim my nose hair, so I don't mind a break from that either. When you don't have hair in your nose, it's always running and there's nothing to catch it though. Also nothing standing in the way of allergens. Or at least that is my experience. Keep lots of tissues with you. Lots. Couple in each pocket at all times, because there is never one in reach when you need it.

It depends on the drugs. I t
Had cytoxin and taxotere every three weeks four times total. Hair fell out in the second week. Lost hair on legs and underarms, which was nice not having to shave during the summer! Lost nose hair, eyebrows thinned out twice during treatment, lost most, but not all of my eyelashes twice. It's exciting to see it all come back. Well except for legs and underarms! I
checked the mirror every day! Best of luck to you and God bless:)

When I was on paclitaxel and avastin from Mid May through Mid July this year, eyebrows and my nose hair fell out as starting midway into my 2nd cycle. I switch cocktails to Gemcitabine, Carboplatin, and Avistan and all my hair started growing back in Mid October. Most chemo meds list hair loss as a possible side effect, so I guess it depends on what your on. My oncologist did mention that pactitaxel would defiantly cause hair loss, and the nurse practitioner warned me about the nose hairs.

I did TC every three weeks. I lost every bit of hair on my entire body EXCEPT lashes and brows. Then, two months after I finished chemo about the time my other hair started growing back, my lashes started getting patchy. The good news about lashes is that they grow in 3 layers, so by the time the third group starts to thin, the first one is already coming back in. I was never completely without ...they were just a little thinner at times. I don't think my brows were affected.

I was on dose dense Adriamycin/cytoxin and then Taxol and somewhere around midway through, all my hair started falling out including my eyebrows and lashes. I've read that it varies from individual.

I was treated with Abraxane. I went shiny bald and a lot of my eyebrows fell outI. I used brow powder with a small angled brush and created the look for eyebrows. I lost about half my lashes but refused to draw lines on my lids with a makeup pencil. I figured I'd look like a porcelain doll if I did that. Don't worry. I know of others who have lost only a small amount of hair so no one even realied they were cancer patients.
      Good Luck!

My eyelashes never fell out, until the very end of chemo. I did lose my eyelashes. I found that putting eyeliner around my eyes made my eyes look not so naked.

My eyelashes and eyebrows didn't fall out until after chemo, but while I was getting radiation. I asked radiation doc. He said that is common. Not a side effect of the radiation. But is delayed side effect of chemo. Something about the follicles of eyebrows, and eyelashes....as the new hair is starting to come in, the existing hair is pushed out of the follicle. It means the new hair is coming in...

I've been on Carbo/Taxol and have lost most of my eyebrows and eyelashes. I still startle myself when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror! Whose face is that, anyway???

I had 4 rounds AC and 6 Taxol, then due to neuropathy I had to change to Taxotere 2 rounds. I lost all the hair on my entire body! Plus all the toenails but 2 and now even after finishing chemo in Sept. I have lost most of my fingernails too. It was very mean. My hands and feet were real bad.
But I have slowly started to feel better. I am alive. Good luck many blessings. Jenn

I had Cytoxen & Taxoterra. My lashes & brows fell out last after my hair was already growing back. Go figure! But it WILL all grow back! I promise. Good luck to you!

I've been on Taxotere. 15 days after my first session, my hair started falling. Then I had a "peach fuzz" for a while and 15 days after my 2nd session, those tiny hairs started falling again. I feel like my eyebrows and lashes are not as bold as before. I didn't notice loss of nose hairs, but pubic hairs are gone too.

I had 4 doses of AC and 12 of Taxol. Hair on head started to fall out immediately after second dose of AC. Eyelashes and eyebrows stayed nice and plush for another couple months and I was so thrilled. Then, they suddenly fell out just as my head hair was coming back in (while on the Taxol.) No sign of face hair returning yet. I find the "bald face" to be much more upsetting than the bald head.

Lost my hair after the 2nd chemo. The rest of my body hair was gone after the 3rd. Last chemo was 11/26/12 and I have about 5 lashes & 10 eyebrow hairs remaining. Still waiting for regrowth to start. With my luck, it' 'll show up on my legs first :) . Best wishes to you during this crazy journey!

I didn't know until I went through chemo that we have 2 layers of eyelashes, I lost my longer layer, but kept the shorter layer, and my eyebrows thinned.

There are eye brow stencil kits. you can find one in the TLC catalog from the American cancer Society. www.tlcdirect.org. I can't give you the phone number on this site but through the tlc site you can order a catalog. I am sure there are other sources. False lashes were not recommended because of the glue
