I only know, when I'm afraid.... terrified comes to mind for my own state of fear when told I had Stage IV ovarian cancer.... I automatically lifted my hand up and ask God to take my hand and ease my fear.. He did instantly. I told him I would follow Him where he'd lead me, that I had so much more I wanted to see in my life, do in my life... But I knew His will for me would be best for me..... It is six and half years later... I'm still cancer free. I did all the oncologist asked as far as treatment... following His lead.

That is how I feel, too, Carol. My radiation and chemo are done this week, and then I get to ring a bell mounted in the radiation unit which will be a release for me. I have done everything humanly possible to kill my cancer, and the rest is up to Him.

I had a partial nephrectomy in March. It was also robotic lap surgery. It was painful but it wasnt as bad as an open surgery. They sent me home on day three. I felt I wasnt ready to go home but they pretty much pushed me out the door. Wasnt happy with the doctor at the hospital I was at. You will be very tired and make sure you take all your pain meds so you can get up and walk around. I was very terrified to have the surgery too but it turned out good.
