I had squamous cell in a tonsil, and at the same time had pre-cancerous pollups removed from my colon, but they didn't tell me the cell type in my colon. I didn't even think to ask. No treatment in colon area. Just head and neck

I had Squamous cell lesion in the rectal/anal area. I too had Mitomycin and 5FU combination and 28 rounds of radiation. In July I had my first post-treatment sigmoid scope and was given a clean bill of health at that time. I have to have the scope done every 6 months for a couple years and if they stay clear then it will go to yearly for a couple years. I hope you are doing well and if there is anything I might be able to help you with just let me know.
