I finished radiation treatments 8 months ago and am still having hip pains and want to know if this is normal?

I had a 4 cm lesion in the rectal/anal area which called for aggressive radiation and I have had pains in my hips. I have some days that is doesn't bother as bad as others but it is frustrating!

It took a year for me to be able to wear a bra again after I finished Radiation treatment, I was told this was not unusual. Ask your oncologist or radiation oncologist just in case.

I had aggressive radiation in the rectal area. More than a year after I completed treatments I still had hip pains. At 8 months you are probably still scarring from the radiation. I had a lot of issues with scar tissue in my pelvis, some of which finally resolved over a couple of years. Some of it is still with me over 8 years later.
