I found a lump under my arm on the uneffected side. What are the signs and symptoms people have with recurrence of breast cancer?

I had a double mastectomy two years ago, followed by chemo and radiation.

Well the lump may be a symptom. Other than that, there typically aren't any until well advanced. You need to get a scan or biopsy on the lump.

Get a scan or ultrasound. I found a small lump under my arm 8 years after my doule mastectomy. (I did not need chemo or radiation then) Howeer, this turned out to be a new breast cancer in residual breast tissue. Very unusual.
Yours could be nothing -but be sure.

Definitely go have it checked out. I ended up with a little cyst right under my incision line... I got it checked out ASAP.....

The hardest part with cancer is there may not be many signs. Please get it checked out. I had a painful lump appear under my arm. It turned out to be an oily cyst, which is not uncommon, that was benign.
