I had laser surgery for VAIN II on August 9 and it still hasn't healed.

The skin is paper thin and tears easily. Does anyone know what to do to promote healing? I'm 62 and know it may be due in part to lack of estrogen but don't really want to go that route.

A lot of things can slow healing. Chemo is one of them because part of chemo usually knocks down you immune system to help the other drugs kill the cancer. It also could be a numkber of other drugs you might be taking including some pain medications. You shoulod have had a post-op visit already. If so you need to go back and see what can be dont to promote healing.
