i have a 5mm nodule in my thyroid that turn out to be cancer and now i am told i have stage 4a it spread to the lymp node has this happened

This is what I went through. I have lived with it 35 years since being diagnosed and treated. Once it goes to your lymph nodes you need to make sure you have a good endocrinologist to do tests every year to make sure it is kept under control and that your replacement thyroid levels are appropriate for control of cancer. It is very survivable and though you have entered the alternate reality of the big C its not as horrible as it could be. I am trying to post some of the lessons I have learned on how to live without a thyroid, contact me with any questions. I have been treated twice and know how scared your are feeling.
