I have been experiencing chronic hip pain since treatment. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

I had both internal and external radiation, 6 rounds of chemo (carbo/taxotere), and a complete hysterectomy. I also just underwent surgery about a month ago to place a gastric stimulator to combat the gastroparesis that I developed as a result of my treatments.

I get hip pain, especially during the night, from taking and aromatase inhibitor. What works for me is staying as active as possible and doing a lot of walking and flexibility exercises. You might consider asking your oncologist if working with a rehab specialist might help.

I had hip and bone pain and in the pelvic area for almost 3 years after my internal and external radiation and surgery. I got a memory foam mattress which did help with sleep. No pressure points. Then started doing water aerobics in warm water. It did eventually subside.
