What does your Doctor say? There are very successful treatments for Hep C now already approved and more in clinical trials.

Take every conceivable herb and supplement for your liver and NO Tylenol.

      You can try.

If your uric acid count is high, check your diet. A sick liver becomes very sensitive and something simple like herring (high in uric acid) can thicken your ankles and slow down your brain. There is also a very expensive drug (the name starts with an X) which a doctor can prescribe. Apologies for not being able to remember the actual name. If you want to look into it and your symptoms and the X doesn't ring a bell for your doctor, I'll make a call to someone who took it and find out more.

If you are not allergic to sulfa drugs, you might wish to check out the current pill therapies to get rid of the hepatitis.

It is best if you have fresh blood work. That is like a snap shot of your insides and will show what, if any, overages are apparent and, also, in which things you are a half a quart low.You need to make a good report of symptoms so your blood work will do you some good. A lot of people report feeling less well when their viral count is high, despite medical insistence that the count doesn't matter.

In any case, better and more well balanced nutrition can only benefit you.

You might wish to look to tasty avocado for essential fatty acids which help your brain to function.

The "magic" or standard hcv herbals are milk thistle, A-L-A, and N-A-C-L, and some take St John's Wort for depression abatement.

Do you have energy enough to boil water? I know how fatigued some people can become from hcv. I have a photo of a friend, somewhere, who looked like Skeletor before he got help. Do you have help? There is an herbal tea concoction you can try. It is like Essiac tea is for cancer. It may or may not be doing anything but it feels good to be proactive. A proportional combination of crushed milk thistle seed and dandelion root and an herbal balance with an anti fungal leaf and licorice. Drink up. It can be some small relief.

      Good luck.

I came across the name of that drug I'd mentioned.

      It is Xifaxan550.

      Ask your doctor.

It is via prescription and individual need.

      Best wishes.
