Most of my hair fell off my head but not all...but what was left turned to "straw"... I finally shaved it.....and yes I lost facial hair (including nose hair), pits, legs and private parts.....eye brows and eye lashes fell out after I finished chemo.....

fastest growing hair goes first... slowest growing hair goes last. depending on your chemo and your hair growth patterns, you may very well NOT lose all your hair.

i lost every single hair. every single one. every .... single .... one.

friend of mine did exactly the same chemo regimen as i did, and she didn't lose her eyebrows and eyelashes... i was kind of jealous! ha!

      good luck....

I lost most of the hair on my head, 3/4 of my eyebrows, my nose hair, some of my "mustache" but my chin hairs just continue to grow.

My eyebrows have thinned. But I don't have wild hairs on my chin like usual, (etc.) that I have to tweeze. And I've not had to shave pits or legs anymore... So that's my experience.

Like for Karen, it all went (only fair I didn't have to shave). My eyebrows and eyelashes bravely hung on until roght about the end. they became more and more sparse, until i jad not an eyelash or eyebrow left (i put on eyeliner which gave the illusion of eyelashes, and dabbled with somemeyebrow makeup, still looked freakish, felt sooo bery ugly. Losing nose hair is very annoying, constantly sniffling. A couple of months after chemo I had big time facial hair and a mustache! Not sure if that was post chemo awakening or the side effect from the minoxidil extra strength I was using on my head, needless to say I stopped using the rogaine :). I was crazy hairy.

I lost all my hair -- the eyebrows and eyelashes did not go until the end of chemo and they came back fast. The hair has not come back under my arms or on my legs but that is just fine! I can see some fine little dark hairs appearing in the mustache area -- and I am not happy about that -- but it is minor compared to the big picture.

It depends on which drugs you are being given. I had taxotere and cytoxin. I lost all hair on my head. Armpits, legs , nose hair after that. Eyelashes twice! Eyebrows thinned out, came back, thinned out again. I think it's different for everyone. Just take it as it comes. It will all come back eventually! God bless you:)

At first it was only my hair. Then I lost all hair on my body. It depends on what chemo your taking.

I'm 5'10" tall with 34" inseams...the ONLY hair I kept on my body was my leg hair! I was soooo angry! At least, I was hoping to not to have to shave my legs, but noooooo...it stayed there. I think it's part of the cruel cancer god's joke on us when we're going through chemo, Seriously, though, I thought it was weird that that was the only hair on my body.

I never fully lost my hair on my head, it just got very thin and I had a couple bald patches. So I shaved it down to a crew cut. I lost almost all eyelashes and eyebrows thinned out but I didn't lose any body hair or nose hair.
