I'm looking for women diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer.

I really appreciate any input. I only had lumpectomy (2 lumps) and am stage 2. Just finishing chemo with radiation ahead. No family history of ANY cancer EVER. How long since your diagnosis?

I don't know what triplel negative breast cancer is but I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June and it was suppose to be a simple lumpectomy for Ductal Carcinoma in-site, localized in the duct and not invasive. However, after the doctor noticed some problems the radiologist did not report in my mammogram I had a bi-lateral MRI which showed I had another spot in the right breast away from the localized and two active clusters in the left breast the mammo didn't show. I had to have a double mastectomy. I had no family history of breast caner either, but found out that I have a positive HER2 in my DNA which caused the cancer. I was caught so early that I did not have to have chemo or radiation treatment. I hope that things are going okay for you now?

If you can't find a cohort of triple negatives on this site, try breastcancer.org. In its discussion boards it has a group specifically for triple negative breast cancer. It is a respected site.

I'm slightly behind you. Diagnosed in August. Getting second treatment of Taxotere & cytoxine on Wednesday. I am triple negative, had two tumors and a lumpectomy as well. I assume you are getting treatment at U of M, given your location. Let me know if I can help, in any way.

I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in March 2010. I chose to have a bilateral mastectomy. So far so good. My treatment consisted of dose dense chemo and radiation since I had 3 postive lymph nodes.

I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in April 2009 (the day before my 9th wedding anniversary). I had a lumpectomy, six rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation. Just take it one day at a time. A really good website is the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation - www.tnbcfoundation.org. I got some great tips and a lot of support from their message boards. Good luck!

I was diagnosed three months ago with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer, I just finished 4 doses of chemo on November 20 & will start another form of chemo taxol on december 3 for 12 weeks. When my chemo is finished I will be getting a double mastectomy, followed by 6 weeks of radiation everyday for 10 minutes, then the expanders & reconstruction will be done. If there is anything I can help with don't hesitate to ask. I have a long year ahead of me but I will have my life back. can't wait!!!

I was diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade 3, TNBC June 2011. I chose the bilateral mastectomy and a clinical trial. Finished my last round of Chemo Dec 2011. I see someone has already mentioned the website www.tnbcfoundation.org I agree you can find some good information there.
