I'm worried about not getting treatments!

As this pandemic keeps chugging along forward, I'm seeing more and more hospitals, clinics, and treatment centers that have stopped seeing patients. Right now I can still go to mine but I have to go through a screening process each time to check my temp and answer a bunch of questions, but I'm OK with that. I'm just afraid they will shut down for a month. What will happen to me and my treatments? Will I have to start over? Will the cancer progress?

Oh Boy! Tomorrow I have a telephone appt with my oncologist for my Stage 4 melanoma! I was also told that my health info was sent to another hospital for another Person with my name and they thought I had been treated with breast cancer drugs too! No problems here!

Child of God, can you get Neulasta shot the day after chemo? Now they put a patch on your arm that gives you the meds the next day. I know your chemo has to be at least 14 days apart to get that med.

I think in this situation it is better to talk with your doctor. If you're worried about your treatment then it is better to discuss with your doctor maybe he can arrange an emergency appointment for you.
      Best of luck!
