I Made my Doctor Cry Yesterday

I told my Doctor that when He prays for and with his patients that it's the MOST important thing he can do. I said that anybody can be trained as a Doc and Surgeon but it's harder to teach empathy and humanity. I also told him that his faith in what I was to do was very powerful. He couldn't answer as he started to tear up. I JUST wanted him to know that I'm probably not the only Patient that feels like this. A Doctor is a Facilitator a lot of times and his human touch and belief in US is crucial. By his look I think maybe I'm the first to tell him this...BUT I MEANT IT and a Hug or a Prayer should be taught to be used in Med School. Just wanted to share this intimate story. He also brought me into a room to talk to a NEW Colon Cancer Patient after surgery and it was really an amazing experience. Any Thoughts?

We never argue we just discuss....that's good as everybody has something to say and sometimes IF we have an open mind we can learn something new.

Good grief people as Charlie Brown would say, lighten up....What started out as someone just having a moment with his doctor and him sharing it with us. By the way, it's ok.......Take it for what it is... a moment where him and his doctor had a good day....
