I have silicone...they are very soft....as far as implants go, I am happy with them....my PS recommended the silicone...said that they are very well researched.....I remember after my exchange surgery, he came in the recovery room and put my hand on the chest to fill how soft they were.....I think they are the way to go.....I've had these implants for 4+ years.....in clothes I look like a small chested woman....

I have silicone, I am happy with them. They were placed in 2007 and I have had no problems.

I wanted saline implants because I thought they were safer. One of my friends has saline implants and is not satisfied with them, they leak. My PS recomended silicone. I got my implants just 3 weeks ago and they feel pretty good. I'm happy my PS convinced me to go with silicone. Just know that they have to be replaced in 10 years.

I have had both over the years and my favorite is silicone because it did not to seem as heavy as saline. Talk to your Doctor for their opinion.

I have Natrelle gel implants and am very happy with them so far. They look and feel very natural to me.

I choose saline, I didn't want a foreign substance in my body after just having cancer removed. I had the first implant done the end of 2007 and the second one done the end of 2008, 2 different diagnosis. I have no problem with either one and the feeling is comfortable. It's your choice, like I said I didn't want another foreign substance in my body in case of leakage.

I opted for saline implants. They are fine, the right weight and I think they feel fine. They look good and I no longer have to wear a bra and my boobs stay in just the right place and have a very natural look. Silicone probably feels more natural but my husband knows I have no feeling on my chest anymore anyway so how it feels isn't that important - since he knows I can't feel him touching me. I just wasn't willing to put myself at risk for the problems I've heard about with silicone implants. It was one choice I could make to be, perhaps, a little safer. And, if they pop, I'll know it. Both options have pros and cons and I definately agonized over the decision. I'm just a year older than you. Go with what feels right in your gut. No one else can make this decision for you. All the best!
