Neoplasms may be benign, pre-malignant (carcinoma in situ) or malignant (cancer). It is Huthie Cell Carcinoma only if it is malignant,

Neoplasm basically means its a tumor or abnormal growth of body tissue but as nancyjac answered a tumor can be cancerous or non cancerous. So it sounds at this time the tumor is made of Hurthle cells. The path report should also tell you from the needle biopsy if it is malignant or benign. Stay Strong !!!
