    I wonder if anyone has heard of cancer at the head of the pancreas going into remission. Just curious if this has ever happened.

      My dad had a pancreatic cancer - the location was near duct. I am not sure if this is similar to your case. He went through a whipple operation @ Mount Sinai and no chemo. This was 8 years ago and he is doing very well. It was a death sentence first, but I never showed any hint to him not to my mom. Now it seems to be a bad dream. I am very sorry that you are going through with this.

      my husband had a whipple operation in November. he is doing post op chemo now. I would love to say that he will be fine for 8 years!!!
