My sister is going to take a break from chemo, MD approved, after she completes 6 cycles. She asked for 2 months off so she could do something on her bucket list.

There are several reasons for someone that is not NED to take a break from chemo. Things from just wanting some time away to healing from another health issue can interrupt chemo. In some cases it may result in the cancer progressing but often it doesn't progress because the chemo builds up in your body and may be working for some time or it can take some timer for the cancer to recover. Each cancer and patient is different so it is hard to know the effects. Good Luck
