Can you provide a bit more information on the nature of the side effects? Also, are you undergoing radiation treatment at the same time? I ask this last question because if you are getting radiation also, some of the adverse effects might come from that, not just the Xeloda. JMS

I did 't have side effects from Xeloda. However each of us reacts differently. Good luck in finding a more agreeable alternative or a palliative that can offset the side effects.

I'm having some mild side effects. Fatigue, nausea, and poop problems. All seem to have intensified as a I started the Xeloda along with radiation. I'm starting week 4 and have no real handle on where exactly the side effects are emanating. But treating them all as best I can.

Good luck on your healing journey.

I remember having to go on Xeloda after my 1st 6 weeks of chemo.I believe I had to go through the radiation treatments about 6x's.I think it was around the 4th week that I thought I couldn't do it anymore but somehow you just drag yourself there and get it done.It so worth it.I still had to do 6 more weeks of chemo but you actually happy about it because your off of xeloda.I'm almost 2 years out...think Yeaaa xeloda.

Sorry about lack of detail, mainly fatigue, and some stomach problems, nausea, etc.

      Thanks for the responses.
