Hello, I'm an oncology nurse and I noticed your post and noticed that there was just one response. Although I have not had MFS personally, I have run across it in my experience in oncology. The prognosis depends on the grade of the disease or how aggressive your type is. I can tell you that this is the type of sarcoma that if it recurs, will usually come back in the same spot. I can also tell you that there are more options for sarcomas now than ever before. If current standards state that for high grade at this time between 65%-70% for 5 year survival, by next year you can expect that number to increase as it will with each subsequent years to follow. Therapies are being approvedcat a rapid rate. So...take a breath and know that the future is very promising. Best of luck to you.
