Hi! I am ALK positive stage 2b nsclc. I had my right upper lobe removed in July and started chemo last month. I am currently not on any oral meds. I am so happy to find you though. This ALK diagnosis has left me in the dark. Have you been able to find out a lot of info pertaining to this disease? My oncologist is sending me for an MRI Friday to rule out brain mets. Did you go through anything similar? Any info would be appreciated! God bless you!

I was diagnosed in 2015 with adenocarcinoma and tested positive for the ALK gene mutation and was started on Xalkori. I did exceptionally well for 29 months at which time I had progression and was switched to Alecensa. I am still stable and doing well on this drug also for 20 months now.
