is dry XXX normal post surgery?
1 month after surgery i found myself to have "dry ejacultions", which is of great concern as i start with radiation and chemo in 2 weeks from now. is this dry XXX, 1/ normal, 2/ temporary and 3/ steps to take before radiation/chemo, to secure sperm for growing my family. have 1, want 2 and am only 32 years of age.

GRH, I hope you are recovering well from your surgery. What you describe is referred to as retrograde XXX. It is sometimes caused by damage to nerves during your surgery where the semen goes into the bladder, a path of least resistance. These cells can be retrieved from urine by an infertility specialist if this does not resolve, and there are other ways to retrieve these cells should you want to father children. You did not stop producing it, it is only redirected. I hope this helps answer your question. As an oncology nurse I can tell you that it is not a rare occurence, Carm.

The word XXX'd out is the same word you used following "dry" in your first sentence. Why it is blocked, I cannot understand but thought you should know in case you wanted to research it, Carm.
