On my first set of radiation treatments, I could hardly lay down at all, but had to suffer thru it. The Multiple myeloma had caused alot of cracked ribs and my bones were extremely fragile. But the staff was very kind and helped me alot, they put a cushion on the table. The second round of radiation about 2 months later wasn't as painful, but they were doing my spine and back, so I couldn't have the cushion. So I just had to think of the days when my spine didn't hurt as much. Good luck on your journey

I don't think it is the radiation. I think it is a bone issue and will get better as the radiation starts working.
