    Is Primary Plasma Cell Leukemia also considered a type of myeloma?

      Melmom,
      PCL is a rare variant of Myeloma. It can be a primary or a secondary to Myeloma. It stems from poorly differentiated B cells and is usually treated with Melphalan (Alkeran) and a steroid (usually prednisolone). I hope this helps answer your question. Best of luck to you, Carm RN.
