Here is an excellent resource on fatigue, from the National Cancer Institute. http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/supportivecare/fatigue/Patient/page2

Hi Guy, no it's not just emotional. I had it during two of the three times I have had cancer. It just beats you down, every day, killing off the bad cells, but at the same time killing down some of the good cells too. Your body just gets tired from fighting and trying to rebuild. I got so I had to go home and take a nap at around 3 each day. After treatment was done, I slowly started to get my energy back.

Hope this helps, and welcome to the site!

the fatigue is certainly physical too. as greg says, you will just need to rest more until your treatment is over, then slowly regain your strength. it will take time, but it should ease once the radiation ends.
