Is the fatigue you experience from rads similar or different than chemo?

I have achy legs and arms from chemo which makes me exhausted. Not sure what fatigue symptoms you experience from rads.

The only difference I felt was in degree and duration. Chemo caused more fatigue for a longer time than radiation did.

The first week of rads I had some exhaustion, but after that I was fine. Rads was better than chemo for me. Goodluck!!!!

By the time my course of radiation was over I felt like a zombie - 5 days a week for 6 weeks is a long time. But within a month it was gone. Chemo is more of a roller coaster, but over all on a scale of 1-10 1 being no energy and 10 being my perky self I am 1-2 starting 24 hours after my infusion, this period last for 24-48 hours and then slowly work my way up to 5, 6, or 7 depending where in my cycle I am When I missed two infusions in a row due to low platelets I got up to an 8.

Loafer-I have had 19 of 30 rad treatments. I'm tired but believe it's more chemo recovery versus rads. The skin urns are killer tho'.....

I felt fatigue with both treatments, I used to say the rads made me more tired, but I think the chemo makes me more tired, Get plenty of rest! Best of luck to you!
