8 days ago you asked the same question, Prior to that you asked similar questions. I asked you to confirm if you have melanoma and what treatment you have had.

No definitive blood test for melanoma exists.

Sunnysideup--you keep asking questions as if you are looking for a magic answer to Melanoma---like a simple answer to not getting hit by a bus means not walking out in front of one. There isn't a simple answer. There isn't a surefire way to know in advance. Sunscreen, vigilant skin checks (both yourself and from a dermo), and not obsessing to the point of mania are the key to being on top of it, but even those are not guarantees you can avoid it. There is no anti-melanoma diet, regimen, blood test, sudden mark of the devil on your neck warning or trick (like touching your nose under a full moon on alternate Thursdays after Lent).

Even if a person stayed totally out of the sun, someone, somewhere would still be diagnosed with Melanoma because the research answers aren't there yet and because cancer doesn't play fair---just like no cancer plays fair.

Repeating the same question will not suddenly make the answer spring forth.

Sorry that I asked the same question. I couldn't remember, I have a lot on my mind and just trying to find answers to this. I am in the "why me", anger stage I guess. If you don't want to answer, feel free not to.

I am just a little ticked off in having to deal with this and want to find out as much as I can. If I can beat this maybe I can keep it from coming back.

Sorry if I have bothered anyone.

You have not bothered anyone...you are in "panic" mode, there is no blood test for melanoma. Get yourself a really good dermatologist, then ask away...none of us likes to deal with a cancer diagnosis....there were times I would say that having cancer is a part-time job...keeping track of appointments, paper work, etc...if you have already been biopsied and diagnosed with melanoma then you have been referred...there is a lot of information available but be sure you are on reputable sites (American Cancer Society, Mayo Clinic, etc.)...when you read something you are not sure applies to you ask your physician, also ask us! If you have not been biopsied yet, then slow down, take a deep breath, and be sure you trust your dermatologist.
Keep us updated...good luck and God bless!

You have not bothered anyone but if you could share a bit..not too much of whats going on we can help you..I have a good deal of knowledge about Melanoma.

What is your stage and what is your treatment plan..The good news is even people with advance stage are being cured.

There is no blood test that has any implication for Melanoma.

Have you been DX? or are you just scared you have it? The whole cancer thing is scary.
