Just asking for prayers or NED thoughts

Had a CT today....just a routine CT (one of those every 6 months things), and I am DEEP in the grips of scanxiety.

I'd love some prayers for NED, if anyone is so inclined....

Oncologist's office called back. He's out of the office until Thursday, and he'll look at the report then. However, the Nurse Practitioner said "the difference in the HU could be because one scan was done with contrast and one was without. I think it sounds like nothing to be concerned about. But, I'll put it on his desk, and have him look at it. For me personally, I'd get the MRI, but I expect the MRI to show a benign adenoma, not anything cancer'y, and definitely not a metastasis."

So, thank you for the prayers and good thoughts....and if everyone can send me some "hurry up and approve the MRI" thoughts to my insurer, I'd be grateful!

The oncologist finally reviewed the scan, and he basically said the same thing that the NP told me yesterday. "Nothing to be concerned about."

Thanks for the prayers, and good wishes.
