Just finished chemo with the help of weed

Just finished 4 A&C and 12 taxol chemo. I live in CA and medical weed is legal here yet my DR and chemo nurses never brought up the natural miracle plant. They wanted to give me more medicines which I refused. I used weed throughout my chemo and was never sick, no side affects other than being tired. I was in the chemo chair eating a salad while everyone around me was throwing up. I truly believe that weed was my miracle drug. They have weed to make you sleep, give you the munchies, laugh your XXX off, even forget for a short time that you have cancer. My advice is use as much weed as you can!!!!!!! Hugs

I agree and wish everybody had access to this wonderful plant. I wrote a cool song and video called WEED....check it out.

BTW if drugs were all legal or even Pot half of all the crime would disappear BUT of course that wouldn't be good for the Lawyers, Cops and DEA, Private Jails on the Stock Exchange.....Rehab Places, Courts and all the people who work in the jails.....Drugs being illegal is a huge cash cow even bigger than Big Pharma which is mostly crap except for a few good drugs.
It's all about money. The war on drugs is as big a joke as the war on cancer.....both dismal failures and both cash cows for a LOT of people.

I met someone at radiation treatment who told me her doctor gave her medical marijuana in pill form, so I asked my doctor about it. He said he didn't have a license to prescribe it. So, I suffered.

Well I cant see someone having to have some type of special certification just to prescribe Marinol when (to some) they are getting far more powerful drugs for they're ailments. And Lisa, if not for weed, I would have been much sicker also :) lol

Went through chemo with cistiplatin and eptisole (spelling is atrocious). Used CBD oil, which is legal in every state, as long as the THC levels are below 0.3%. Was never truly nauseous, and it did help keep my appetite up. So, for those who either don't like the idea of weed to smoke, or don't want the high CBD oil is what I would recommend.
