Hi! I was on opdivo another immunotherapy drug and I had low grade fevers and chills. Don’t remember headaches. I know I kept a side effect journal to share with my doctor on my next visit. It was helpful for him to help me manage the side effects. I am sure some others that took keytruda wills have some advise. I hope he feels better! Sandi

Hi, I was also on Keytruda/Opdivo for 10 weeks. I didn't have any side effects though my doctor told me I might get feverish on the first night -- but then it goes away. This is a lot less toxic than chemo and hopefully, your husband will tolerate future treatments. Ketruda saved my life. After chemo didn't work, Keytruda wiped away the tumor. I hope the same for your husband!

Been on Keytruda 18 months now. Some side effects such as skin changes, itchiness, abdominal bloating, severe fatigue. Although I have some side effects this treatment is so much better then chemo whereas I was severely ill. Last pet scan & ct showed little sign of my tumor. Good Luck with your treatments & think positive.

Thank you everyone. I did check in with his Dr and he confirmed that it was normal. Most do not have any side effects, however everyone is different. I am keeping a journal with any and all issues I see. I will share with his Dr when we see him. Thanks again

Hi nanasarro, My wife continues with Keytruda, carboplatin and alimta with minimal side-effects. I firmly believe Keytruda has extended her life. I hope for similar success for your husband. Please keep us posted.

I wish I could say the same for my wife and Keytruda. While she didn't have many side effects, it didn't work as we'd hoped. She's now trying Alimta and Avastin. nansarro, I wish you the best!! I'm sure it will work for you! :-)
