Komen grant to help breast cancer survivors

There is a grant of $1500 to pay ongoing living expenses (rent/mortgage, gas & electric, groceries, etc). Not sure if this is a southern Ohio program or nationwide. Worth a phone call to your local Komen center.

I hope that this grant is good in other states as well. I just got out of the hospital on Tuesday the 5th and sure wish I had stayed in longer to get control of this pain. The doctor had to finish up partial reconstruction that had to be done so in a couple of months down the road he could do the implants. I will be glad when this is all over. A lot of pain with this operation than the last two. Did anyone else feel the awful plain with fixing up the trap flap area, the stomach area where he took the flaps from and open up the breast again. I am so stinking lazy right now that my makeshift mini breasts cooperate with the muscles they are supposed to work with. Right now I could just curl up and die the pain is so bad. That's life I guess.
