LEG SEIZING OR TREMORS, BUCKLEING OF THE KNEES
NO PAIN INVOLVED

Taxol made my muscle spasm. Sometimes while walking or standing I thought my legs could buckle. A couple weeks later my lab work showed that I was low on potassium. Tonic water is a good source of potassium if you can drink it. I get it real cold. It's easier to drink that way.

Just to clarify, tonic water is just carbonated water and is not a good source of potassium. Traditional tonic water contains quinine which is helpful in preventing muscle cramps when used regularly/daily. Check the label though, because some brands use the term tonic water even if it is just carbonated water with salt and sugar added but without the quinine.

If it is potassium problem try eating bananas or drinking tomato, orange and V8 juice. two of the drugs i take cause muscle spasms and these all help. They also got my potassium level back to a more or less normal level and taste a XXX of a lot better than tonic water ;-)
