    Liver Mets?

I have not been on here in a while, and I wanted to share that everything is going great!!! Dad is on his third chemo treatment tomo and so far the ONLY side effect is being sensitive to the cold. Even that side effect is minimal.I had a question about liver mets. My dad has not asked about the next step in the process, he is living day by day. Has anyone one here had their liver mets surgically removed after receiving chemo to shrink them? Has anyone ever had the liver mets just disappear from chemo?

Happy that your father is doing well so far. I just finished my treatment for Stage IIIa and my follow up scans and bloodwork were clear. It's good to know literally about "what next" should I have a recurrence. Best wishes to your family and thanks for posting.

I have had the mets shrink from the chemo - I had several mets in both lobes of the liver and they did shrink and I had a liver resection - unfortunately I had recurrence in liver within a year of the resection and two days ago I have had a second liver surgery to remove the mets in the liver
