    Livewithcancer and BuckeyeShelby

Has anyone heard from Livewithcancer or BuckeyeShelby? I'm getting worried about them.

Hey folks, check in- just a quick hello to say "I'm still here." If you are wandering away and don't want to participate- I get it. Even an "I'm stepping away" would be nice just so we know if people are just taking a break or if there are issues. Lots of people still wanting to be supportive.

Bug, I’m worried about them, too. A few months ago I posted on their walls. No answers. I know you wrote on LWC’s wall.

Perhaps the fact that the "message" announcement on our individual email is no longer working is the reason that people are not participating.

I just realized that it's been a loooong time since I've received an e-mail update link to this site, so I logged on. It looks like I'm not the only one. I hope you all are doing well.

I don't come on too often but I did today and noticed many new people but not a lot of the people I use to see and that helped me in the beginning of my "journey". Of course it's good to see Bug and MarcieB. Carool, Lynn-I-Am, and Meyati. I'm hoping the others are like me and doing well, busy with their lives.
Maybe because Gregg is no longer with us and the site just isn't what it was?
I may be back soon tho'. Tests coming up, tumor on my liver. It's in a precarious place so they don't want to do a biopsy. MRI coming up end of month.

banditwalker, I’m sorry you’re going through more medical events, and I hope, of course, that the tumor is benign. We are here for you. And WN seems to be on an upswing.

BTW, I just realized where “Banditwalker” derives from (maybe): Your dog’s name is Bandit.

Yes @Carool. Bandit was my dogs name. He was diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks after I was. I rescued him and only had him for 2 1/2 yrs. He was 7 1/2 when he passed. Other than our family dog when I was growing up he was the best dog I ever owned. He was my shadow and I could let him off leash without him leaving my side. By the looks of him you would think he had some kind of terrier in him but I did one of those DNA tests for dogs. Ended up he was Cocker Spaniel, Corgi, Shar Pei, and Treeing Walker Coonhound. He loved to go on trail hikes so we would take a trip to the park or beach every day. Thanks for letting me reminisce about him.
I'm not worried about the tumor actually. I'm just tired of having to have a body part removed every couple of years :)
Glad to hear WN is coming back. So many people can make good use of this site. I'll try to come on more often and of course will update on my goings on. You kids are the BEST!!

Rustysmom and banditwalker, it’s great to hear from you. I’ve missed you. Hugs to both of you. banditwalker, I’m sending very best wishes that the tumor is indeed benign. Do please keep us posted.

banditwalker, thank you. I thought that when I noticed your profile picture tonight (though I’d seen it before, of course). I’m sorry he’s gone. I wish animals lived much longer than they do.
